Bonham Carter and Burton, who were together from 2001 to 2014, worked together quite frequently. Over their 13-year relationship, Burton directed her in "Planet of the Apes," "Big Fish," "Corpse Bride," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Sweeney Todd," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Dark Shadows."
"I really do have to be righter than right before Tim lets me do a part," Bonham Carter told The Guardian in 2008. "Sexual favors don't get me anything."
