American journalist and media personality Megyn Kelly is famous for her controversial opinions on air. She does not hold back when it comes to people she is not fond of.
She rose to meteoric fame as a talk show host for Fox News from 2004 to 2017. She also had a successful run as the correspondent and host of NBC News from 2017–2018 before being canceled due to a segment discussing blackface where she defended doing it for Halloween.
She came under a lot of fire and since then she has been hosting a live daily show called The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM.
Megyn Kelly has not hidden the fact that she does not see eye-to-eye with the Kardashians, especially the most famous of them all, Kim Kardashian. Time and time again, she has attacked Kim for her plastic surgery and alleged vanity, which she thinks sets a bad example for women across the world, who are being taught to focus more on how they look and not on what they say.
In a 2022 podcast episode, Megyn Kelly ripped the Kardashians a new one, especially Kim Kardashian. In the episode (via the New York Post), she called them a “force of evil” because they constantly flaunt their “unrivaled vanity,” which has started a societal trend of “focus on one's self” and “ego” in the pursuit of “clicks” and “likes.”
Megyn Kelly also not-so-fondly recalled her experience of her interviewing the Kardashians in 2017, when she was hosting Megan Kelly Today on NBC.
“I interviewed them and I said, 'Are you a force for good or are you a force for evil?' And they gave me their answer. I don't think this is healthy and that's why I object to — it's their disgusting vanity which is spread like wildfire in our society. The selfie culture is abhorrent to me. I think that's what I'm responding to as opposed to some titillation from a beautiful woman here and there.”
