Prince William is reportedly not interested in welcoming Prince Harry back into the royal family after his divorce from Meghan Markle.
A source close to William told The Sun that he is "deeply hurt" by Harry's decision to step back from royal duties and move to the United States with Meghan.
"William is very angry with Harry for what he's done to the family," the source said. "He feels like Harry has betrayed him and the Queen. He's also worried about what this will do to the monarchy in the long run."
The source added that William is "not sure if he can ever forgive Harry" and that he "doesn't see a way for Harry to come back to the royal family."
Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step back from royal duties in January 2020. They cited their desire for privacy and a desire to "carve out a progressive new role within this institution" as reasons for their decision.
The couple moved to California in March 2020 and have since signed multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.
Their decision to step back from royal duties has caused a rift in the royal family. William and Harry have reportedly not spoken since the announcement.
The Queen has said that she is "saddened" by Harry and Meghan's decision, but that she "supports their wish to live a more independent life."
It remains to be seen whether Harry and Meghan will ever return to the royal family. However, it seems that William is not interested in welcoming them back.
