A number of bombshell claims made by Prince Harry in an interview back in 2017 have been unearthed, showing he was having doubts about his life as a royal even before he stepped down from the Firm with his wife Meghan Markle.
During the chat the Duke of Sussex admits his twenties were a particularly troubled decade as he felt "directionless" and turned to alcohol and partying, adding that he came "very close" to a breakdown at the time.
"Unfortunately, they are not just in a relationship with me but with the entire tabloid press as the third party," Harry said.
The Duke of Sussex accused the press of trying to ruin every relationship he had ever had to sell more newspapers, and told how he and former girlfriend Chelsy Davy were "never on our own" and could never enjoy each other's company away from the "prying eyes of the tabloids".
Harry accused MGN of blagging the couple's flight details and hotel bookings and/or intercepting their voicemails after journalists turned up while they holidayed on a small island off Mozambique.
