Melania Trump and her son Barron Trump have a famously close relationship. In fact, the two were recently seen fleeing Trump Tower together in the wake of Donald's 34 felony convictions.

However, there was a moment that left the former First Lady red-faced when she was given the cold shoulder by her son Ella Barron at a very high profile event.
At the inauguration of Donald Trump in 2017, Melania tried to show some motherly love to Barron, then 12. They joined the newly sworn-in president amidst a sea of supporters, alongside other family members like Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr.
As the Trump family welcomed supporters, Melania reached out to hold Barron's hand in a gesture of family solidarity.
But young Barron quickly withdrew his hand as soon as his mother made contact.
Melania had to make do with adjusting her son's tie and affectionately patting his head later on. The awkward incident followed an earlier moment when Barron was caught yawning during his father's inauguration.
Most parents will recognize this kind of self-conscious behavior when it comes to showing their pre-teens and teens affection. The youngster became a talking point on social media for his seemingly uninterested demeanor during the inauguration.
A social media user commented: "Inauguration was boring, low energy, small crowd compared to Obama's."
