4,000 years ago, the epicenter of humanity's most notable advances occurred in North Africa, more precisely, in Ancient Egypt.
The pharaohs were fully aware of this and, to preserve the "blue blood" of their lineage, they encouraged and permitted certain sexual behaviors that are considered aberrant today. Thus, to guarantee the prolongation of their dynasty, the pharaohs encouraged marriage between brothers and between fathers and daughters, "in order to preserve purity."

Thus, to guarantee the prolongation of their dynasty, the pharaohs encouraged marriage between brothers and between fathers and daughters, "in order to preserve purity."
The Egyptians lived sexuality very naturally and pragmatically. The high temperatures in their arid territory caused them to dress in very light clothing and many times they even went naked in the countryside. Sexual practice was represented many times in stone drawings and papyrus. "There were images of monstrous obscenity that really gave me a strange impression about Egyptian wisdom and composure," said French Egyptologist Jean-Francois Champollion. A complete example of what it refers to is found in the so-called Erotic Papyrus of Turin, where an orgy is observed in which members of the Court, priests and high officials participate, and phrases such as "Come and put it in my back" appear.
A recurring myth in Ancient Egypt was the sacred value of semen, recalls an article in the Spanish newspaper ABC. For the Egyptians, the origin of the world began with the god Atum, who was formed from nothing, who then masturbated and from his semen the other gods and the flow of the Nile River were born. Every year, the pharaoh on duty went to the banks of the Nile for a tribute ceremony in which he masturbated, making sure that the liquid fell into the river and not on the shore. Then the other attendees followed him.
It may be surprising, but women enjoyed great independence compared to other civilizations: they did not have any legal dependence on their husband (in fact, there was no marriage ceremony) and they did not suffer pressure to arrive at marriage as a virgin.
