THRONE SEIZED! King Charles in shock as Camilla takes over his throne while recovering from surgery

Amidst a series of health challenges faced by the Royal Family, King Charles is now on the path to recovery after undergoing planned treatment for an enlarged prostate.

The 75-year-old monarch was admitted to the London Clinic in west London on Friday, January 26, accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla.

The hospital is also the current residence of Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery.

A smiling Camilla revealed that Charles was "fine" as she left the hospital, with a royal source confirming the procedure had taken place and that he was doing well.

In an earlier statement released by Buckingham Palace, gratitude was expressed for the well-wishes received during this challenging time.

"His majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness," the Palace said.

The King is expected to stay in the hospital for two nights as part of his recovery process.

The Royal Family has been faced with a series of health issues recently, with Princess Catherine remaining in the London Clinic. According to Kensington Palace, the Princess is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
