Andrew Worried as Fergie Rushed to Hospital After Collapsing While Battling Cancer
The Duke of York is reportedly "worried" about his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, after she was rushed to the hospital after collapsing while battling cancer.
Fergie, 63, was reportedly taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor on Tuesday afternoon after feeling unwell. She is currently undergoing tests and is expected to remain in the hospital overnight.
A source close to Andrew told The Sun that he is "very concerned" about Fergie's health and is "in constant contact with her family."
"He knows this is a difficult time for her and he wants to do whatever he can to support her," the source said.
Fergie has been battling cancer for several years and has undergone multiple rounds of treatment. She has spoken openly about her struggles with the disease and has said that she is determined to beat it.
"I'm a fighter," she told Hello! magazine in 2020. "I'm not going to give up."
Fergie's hospitalization comes just weeks after she was seen attending a charity event with Andrew. The pair have remained close friends since their divorce in 1996 and have continued to co-parent their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
It is not yet known what caused Fergie to collapse, but her hospitalization is a reminder of the fragility of life. We wish her a speedy recovery.
