Liam Payne's distraught mother fought back tears today as she revealed how the superstar's family are all 'worried sick' over her son's emergency dash to hospital.

, Karen Payne, has said that she is "worried sick" about her son after he was rushed to the hospital with severe kidney pain.
Payne was on an anniversary trip to Lake Como with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, when he fell ill. He is currently being treated in the hospital, and his condition is unknown.
Karen Payne told The Sun that she is "praying for her son" and that she is "devastated" by what has happened.
"I'm so worried about him," she said. "He's such a strong boy, but this is a really tough time for him."
Payne's friends and family have also expressed their concern for his health. His former One Direction bandmate, Niall Horan, tweeted that he is "thinking of Liam" and that he is "sending him all the love."
Payne's fans have also taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.
"We're all thinking of you, Liam," one fan tweeted. "Get well soon."

Payne has not yet commented on his health, but his management team has said that he is "receiving the best possible care" and that they are "confident that he will make a full recovery."
