Prince Harry's plans for Prince William's birthday after months of bitter feuding

A former royal butler has said Harry will get in touch with his brother William, who celebrates his birthday on Wednesday. The Duke of Sussex will reach out to his brother Prince William on his birthday despite the siblings reportedly not having spoken for months, a former royal butler has said. Grant Harrold, who worked for the Royal Family for seven years, believes the pair may make attempts to "fix" any problems between them as the heir to the throne prepares to celebrate his 41st birthday on Wednesday.

Harry and William shared a close bond until the relationship deteriorated as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020.

The distance between the two has also been mirrored in the physical separation between William and Harry, who lives thousands of miles away with his family in Montecito, California, while the Waleses have settled in Windsor.

Relations between the brothers were strained further after a series of allegations and claims were leveled against members of the Royal Family in Harry's best-selling memoir, Spare, and the Sussexes' bombshell interview with US TV host Oprah Winfrey. The situation led sources on both sides to claim in the Telegraph that the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William "is at rock bottom", adding: "The two brothers have not spoken for months."
