'Incredible' similarity between Princess Eugenie's son and Prince Harry's boy laid bare

The striking resemblance between the two royals' sons was laid bare by avid fans on Twitter, who described how the second cousins were so similar they could be brothers. Princess Eugenie's son August bears a striking resemblance to his second cousin Prince Archie, royals fans say, and look so similar they could be siblings. That's the view of royal fans across social media who were left gobsmacked after Eugenie posted a picture of her two-year-old son stroking the head of his newborn brother Ernest. Eugenie, 33, gave birth to Ernest last week, revealing the news to the public in an Instagram post on Monday.

In the post Eugenie, who is married to 37-year-old Jack Brooksbank, said: "Augie is loving being a big brother already."

And the appearance of August in the picture sent royal fans into meltdown, with many comparing him to Prince Harry's eldest son, Archie. Images of Archie - who turned four on the day of his grandfather King Charles III's Coronation last month - are rarely released publicly, and he was last snapped on his parents Harry and Meghan Markle's Christmas card.

For the image young Archie was photographed alongside his younger sister Lilibet.

In what strikes a stunning similarity to the newly released picture of August and Ernest, Archie is seen in the holiday picture looking side-on at his younger sibling. And royal fans couldn't control their excitement.
